It means that in every circumstance of life, no matter what happens in our world, He sits on the throne of heaven and He rules eternally.

Nothing escapes his dominion, and though we may not see righteousness completely established the righteous king and his kingdom will overcome and be established completely one day.

Christ is the sovereign King. A gracious, just, and merciful King. A King who is compassionate with the humble and an avenger against the wicked. The meek and gentle lamb who was slain for sin and the strong and mighty lion who overcame death, he reigns. And for all who humbly enter his kingdom through repentance and faith he reigns as their champion and victor who will one day return to make all things right in his kingdom.

Friend, what ever you may be going through right know, know that he reigns over it, and is with you and if he allowed you to go through what ever it is you’re facing he promised he would never leave you and will not leave you. You’re a child of the Kingdom. Read original caption here
